Today Pastor Devin shares about the difficulties of saying goodbye and expressing appreciation and love when it has to be done at a distance.  Also includes a reading from 1 John 4:7-12 and a look at a favorite song from his time serving as Youth Director and Youth Pastor at Lambertville UMC.

I can't help but get it stuck in my head every time I think about it. Ask Callie and Tyler and I'm sure they remember it from the Youth Group days as well!

Pastor Devin, I am sooooo sorry that I could not be there last Sunday, but enjoyed your sermon on computer. You have meant so much to me and my family and I feel like you are my "adoptive" son. I will really miss you and tried to send you a personal message on computer, but it came back and said it could not be delivered. I was upset because I wanted to tell you that you will always be in my heart, thoughts and prayers. Romeo is gaining a wonderful pastor and Christian when they get you as their Pastor. I know God has a special plan for you and I am so proud of you. Love you and God bless

Joyce,
Thank you for your kind words. I am so thankful for my adoptive status into your family. You are all a special group of people and it has been my honor to serve and love others along with you. Thank you for all the encouragement and support you have given me over the years you have been a blessing in so many ways and I will continue to keep you in my prayers. God bless.

Oh watching this made me ugly crying... yes those weird memes of a woman bawling... I have no words but tears of thankfulness and appreciation of what you have done for me and my family. God has put me in your church and blessed me to know you and your family. I know we will see each other again. I thank you with God's amazing LOVE that I was able to share my love of God to others and make my relationship with HIM and as well you strong. Again, God bless you on your new journey - the new place and church is going to be amazing for you as well. Many blessings to you all. Love you, Sarah and the girls.

Thank you Sarah. It has been a joy to get to know you and your beautiful girls. I am so thankful for your servant heart and willingness to step in and lead and share Christ's love with others. My family will always fondly remember "Miss Sarah who taught me how to talk with my hands!" God Bless.
