Thank you for a beautiful service. The only exception which was very dismaying to me was the mention of BLM, George Floyd and all the others listed in kind. Those people ALL chose to disobey the law and they suffered the consequences of THEIR actions. Do not forget BLM is nothing more than a group of violent criminals forcing their twisted ideas on mankind. They are not hero's or victims, they are criminals. I do not appreciate that kind of message being manipulated into worship service. The young lady who spoke of these groups is more than welcome to voice her opinion on her own time but not at the pulpit. Hi Sharon, first perhaps referring to a pastor in the church as "young lady" rather than by her honorific is something that reduces anyone's willingness to engage with you. Second BLM is both a movement and an organization, are you suggesting those of us working alongside the organization or the movement are nothing more than violent criminals? As Robert said in his comment on your more recent post, you are on a devotional site and even were you not, claiming black lives matter is not something that extends beyond the scope of what the pulpit is intended for.

Corey, I am not looking to engage with anyone. I am expressing my opinion which is covered under the constitution. I have that right as do you or anyone. I also have a right to respond if I so chose to do. I find it interesting and sad that the pulpit is being used by certain members in this group for an extension of social media and the "news". Gods message is inclusive of all mankind and does not make victims. I am not going to get into a debate with you about right and wrong as the bible makes it very clear. I do not appreciate personal social views being woven into messages from the pulpit. Gods word in the bible gives us our message stick to the original context. You also need to know the audience your preaching to, it is all ages, not just young people. While your delivery method might be fine for your age group, it is not for others. Comments are closed.
